Why Alpine Ridge Adventures

We know from first-hand experience that getting the right gear takes a TON of research, and good quality gear can get expensive. 

At Alpine Ridge Adventures, all of our backpackers are provided with heavily-researched/tested state-of-the-art ultralight gear constituting over $2000 in value (each!). Comfort is our priority, and regardless of the length of your trip, your starting base-weight will be UNDER 8lbs! Meals are provided, though you are more than welcome to bring your own food and equipment.

(Foraging is permitted and your guide will help you identify edible plants, berries and mushrooms, to enhance you meals, though such opportunity is not guaranteed.)
